All children are welcome to worship with us in our sanctuary. We believe children are a vital part of God’s house, shuffles and squeaks and all. Having our children sit by our side as we worship helps them to learn our traditions, old and new; it also helps to keep us grounded in the ways that God is doing a new thing in our midst.
If you do decide to keep your children in worship with you, please help yourself to one of our “Worship Bags” and a book or two out of our Children’s Ministry bin in the Narthex. These bags have weekly children’s bulletins full of activities as well as other ways to engage your child in the pews.
That said, we know that there may be times you need a helping hand during the worship hour. Our nursery is open throughout Sunday mornings and is staffed with loving and trained adults, ready to engage your child in our new nursery space. You may choose to drop your child off before the service begins or you may wish for your child to stay with you through the beginning of the worship service. Parents often bring their child down to the nursery following the Children’s Sermon.
