Our Tuition Policy

Tuition is figured as an annual fee. It may be paid in full at registration, or in nine equal monthly installments. The first payment is due August 1st. Remaining payments are due October through May. Because tuition is an annual fee, no refunds are given for illness, vacations or snow days, and those days are not made up. The Registration Fee is due upon registration. The Supply Fee is not due until the first week of school.

Tuition payment is due the first day of each month. Payments received after the 1st will have a $10 late fee added. If a check is returned for insufficient funds, there will be a $25 penalty. If for any reason a parent cannot make a payment on time, they should call the Director and make arrangements for paying it at a later date. Should tuition be delinquent after 30 days from due date, and some arrangement has not been made with the Director, the parents will be asked to withdraw their child from school.

Payment by check or money order is preferred. Checks should be made out to “Lakeside Preschool” and should include the name of the child and the teacher. If you choose to pay cash, please enclose the exact amount in an envelope marked as above and hand the envelope to the Director. A receipt will be issued for all cash transactions. For your convenience, checks may be placed in the metal box to the side of the Director’s office.

If it becomes necessary to withdraw your child during the school year, the Director should be notified at least 30 days in advance or as soon as possible. You will be responsible for the full month’s tuition regardless of the date of withdrawal.
