March 6-7, 2015: Strader Organ Scholarship Competition
This annual competition awards prize money & tuition for incoming graduate students in organ at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music made possible by the generosity of the Strader fund.

February 4, 2015: Presented by the singers & instrumentalists of Lakeside Presbyterian Church, this has become an annual event. Have dinner at 6:30 pm, then be enjoy a show of amazing talent at 7:30 pm.

February 14, 2015: High – Low, Fast – Slow, Listen Closely, Here We Go!
Opposites attract when it comes to making music! We’ll have lots of fun listening to the flute, string bass, piano, and drums while they show us how it’s done with musical opposites.

May 9, 2015: Music Making with Madcap: The Story of the Ugly Duckling
The clarinet, cello, piano and Madcap Puppets tell the story of The Ugly Duckling through the music of Beethoven! Don’t miss the music, storytelling, and warm and fuzzy fun!

These concerts are for 2-6 yr olds & their parents. Tickets: $5.
Concerts are at 10 am and 11:30 am.

Northern Kentucky Community Chorus

November 23, 2014: “Land of the pilgrims’ pride, from ev’ry mountainside let freedom ring!”…or in our case, Let Freedom Sing! The Northern Kentucky Community Chorus presents a concert of American music to celebrate the 200th anniversary of our national anthem. With the help of Rick Sowash, Cincinnati author & composer, we will sing selections from several genres that comprise American choral music interspersed with Rick’s short stories about America. 3 pm, $10 tickets.

December 7, 2014: “Community Carol Sing” Short performances from the Northern Kentucky Community Chorus, the Voices of the Commonwealth Ensemble & the Lakeside Ringers will open this event, and then it is YOUR turn. Lift your voice in an old-fashioned carol sing, where the audience is the choir! 7 pm, FREE Admission.

April 26, 2014: “For the Beauty of the Earth”, Celebrating the beauty of the world in which we live, the Northern Kentucky Community Chorus presents the regional premiere of Kevin Siegfried’s Child of Earth. Other composers include: David Brunner, David Dickau, Philip Stopford and Frank Ticheli. 3 pm, $10 tickets.
