Northern Kentucky Community Chorus
December 14, 2024 (3:00 pm) December Gatherings
Why and where do we gather during December? Join us on December 14th to hear music from three of the places & reasons that we gather: in worship spaces; to go caroling; and in homes of family and friends. This concert has something for everyone with favorite carols, an audience sing-along, and some nostalgic pieces with brass (“’Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “The 12 Days of Christmas”).
May 3, 2025 (3:00 pm) Grant Us Peace
Grant us peace (“dona nobis pacem”) is the text of the final movements of both of the wonderful masses by Franz Joseph Haydn that will be performed on this concert. Often known by their common names, instead of their Latin titles, The Little Organ Mass and The Lord Nelson Mass.
Although they have the same Latin text that is traditional in a mass setting, the two masses are different in how they present the movements. The NKCC chorus will be joined by soloists and instrumentalists. Tickets are available online at nkychorus.org ($15/adults, $10/students, children under 12 are free.)
