Our Pastor, Louisa W. Umphres, hails from the great state of Texas, where she grew up a “cradle” Presbyterian. Despite her love for the Lone Star State, Louisa has called many a place home and is thrilled now to be in Kentucky. She holds a BA in History from Duke University, Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. 

Louisa loves good food, is addicted to coffee, enjoys entertaining, plays the cello, and has been known to yodel when the mood is right.  She has a cat named Hobbes, a lizard named Joe, a husband named Will, and two boys named Hugh and Pip. They all live together in Lakeside Park, Kentucky.
