Beth Koch

Beth Koch was hired as Lakeside Presbyterian’s Nursery Supervisor in 2005 as her son was wrapping up his preschool education at Lakeside and her daughter was preparing to start hers.  Her vision for the nursery has always been to provide a safe, caring childcare environment for the youngest members of our church.  In addition to the nursery, Beth has served on the Children’s Ministry Committee organizing Easter celebrations and Fall festivals, been an active member on the committee to update the playground and install a play structure, volunteered with the Lakeside Preschool, and assisted with the choir teaching the children sign language to accompany songs.

Prior to her children being born, Beth was a Middle School Math, Science, Social Studies and Health Teacher in Cincinnati, and after her children were enrolled in full day elementary school, Beth returned to the classroom.   She teaches enrichment, project based learning, engineering and robotics at Florence Elementary School where she is the Assessment Coordinator, and she coaches the district’s High School Robotics team, which both of her children participate on.  She is also the Robotics Coordinator at NKU CINSAM, organizing the annual state robotics competition and leading numerous robotics camps.

Beth is excited that her children now join her at the church as volunteers, with her son running the sound equipment during church services and her daughter assisting in the nursery.  Her greatest joy is the time they all spend together.

Beth can best be reached via email: [email protected]
