Leadership Transition
In July, Pastor Nancy Ross-Zimmerman announced her plan to retire on June 12, 2022. Session has been working hard since then to discern how best to move through this transition period.
On November 14th, Session has called a congregational meeting for everyone to consider their recommendation:
We recommend redefining the roles and calls of both of our pastors at Lakeside Presbyterian Church from pastor & associate pastor to co-pastors. Per the Book of Order, “When a congregation has two pastors serving as co-pastors, and the relationship of one of them is dissolved, the other remains as pastor.”

Your Session is inviting you to one of the Question & Answer meetings happening over the next three weeks:
- This Sunday, October 24 at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom
- Tuesday, October 26 at 10:00 a.m. in-person at Lakeside
- Wednesday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom AND in-person at Lakeside*
- Monday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. in-person at Lakeside
